Summer months are spent busy traveling to search for new merchandise for the upcoming holidays. New merchandise is still arriving from my buying trip to Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende in February. I recently attended the Los Angeles International Gift Show, and will be in New York in August, where I find the best European nativities and gifts.

"Artisans Market"
This year our annual market will be held on the lawn and courtyard in front of the Church. Save the dates: Saturday,August 28 and Sunday August 29,2010. 10 AM to 4 PM both days We are thrilled to have Claudio Jimenez, world renowned retablo maker from Peru returning for a visit. He will be selling his wonderful retablos, Day of the Dead figures and angel ornaments. Also exhibiting will be artists with their pottery,textiles, paintings and jewelry from Africa, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, China Always a fun time, plan to visit! Karen Fast, Manager
